I am Not Amanita
My name isn’t Amanita Efira.
She is my excuse to share, to keep taking photos, to capture the life quietly unfolding around me. Like fungi, she transforms every creative idea I let die into something new… without expectation, simply for the joy of creation.
Most of my work lives on film.
I love the ritual, the paraphernalia, the unpredictability, the uncertainty of film photography.
How it demands presence, makes you notice what truly moves you, and sometimes even invites others into the moment with you. There’s a certain truth in it, a kind of chaos, and a gentle decontextualization that keeps me fascinated (even if the prices keep climbing).
