Wandering Around with Diana

I bought my Diana Mini years ago in a little film store in Chueca, Madrid, back when film was still cheaper and my budget was tight. From the start, it felt like a toy—something to play with, to let go of expectations, and to see what surprises the film would bring back.

The Diana Mini is cheap, imperfect, and playful by design. That’s exactly what I love about it: slipping it into a pocket, loading a roll, and embracing whatever comes out. Sometimes messy, sometimes magic—always a reminder that film is about play, experiment, and the beauty of what you can’t control.
